Is it safe for Red Eared Sliders to eat Aquarium Salt?
My stepmom and I recently put aquarium salt into our red eared slider tank and to our horror, they tried to eat it! Is it safe for them to digest it, or should we take them out first and then put in the salt?
Ok heres my theory on aquarium salt. It is used wonderfully to treat diseases like ick and therapeutic usage but why add it if u dont have these kind of problems? Their isnt salt present where they come from in the wild so u dont need to add salt to it.
