Aquarium plants Coralife 50/50 fluorescent bulb?
I said in my lfs that actually helps 50/50 Coralife high light plants. Is it this true? I have 18 inch 6000k 15 watt version. I was told that the power does not matter, but its the kind of light, the amount of lumens which makes etc. I would like know if this bulb works at all.
who said what is really misinformed. or does it matter power depends on the size of the tank, and in general, yes, you will not get high power without Lumens comparatively high, unless youre using a high-tech setup LEDs (which are not). temperature color is better plant within the range of 6000k to 10000k, you will find that most of the bulbs of plants are around 6400K, and higher temperatures k get more colors and look brighter. my typical set includes a mix of 6400K bulbs for growth, and a couple of bulbs 10000k appearance.
