I am new to bow hunting deer, can you help me?
I love to hunt. i small bow hunt all the time. I love to hunt birds, but the year i want to try something different this is like hunting deer. I live in North Carolina and there are a lot of deer where I live and eat my garden where i grow many my food. I do not know much about deer hunting bow so here are my questions. Where is the best place to shoot the deer? Am aloud to put corn around my deer blind? when is the best time to be in my blind in the morning or at night? How much are usually skin the deer and get processed? How much it cost to get the head taxidermy'd. as you can tell I do not know much about deer hunting bow that is necessary any information that might be useful. Is there anything else I should know before you go deer hunting with a bow?
1. If you're looking at what about to shoot the deer, the best place is on the side of the deer, and just behind the front leg, where his heart is. If your search positioning the place where the deer are, I setup 10 yards in the woods, and face outward to an open field. 2. You can put any type of bait you feel necessary, until a week before the season opens (PA State Regulation, so that could vary depending on where you are), though I recommend for apples the deer in close. 3. Come to light just before, where you can see around you well enough to take a shot, but still sorta dark, because I've walked on the deer when it was dark, and get up and flee, and that will ruin a day of hunting in this small region. 4. I do all my own process, so does everyone I know. But I know a guy who has a general cargo processing and $ 100 – $ 250 depending on whether you want the whole deer, or part of it (IE: Steak, Backstraps, ect ..) 5. A montage taxedermy costs upward of $ 200, depending on the size of the deer. I have a point 8 which costs $ 350, but I have a turkey assembly that I did, and it only costs $ 20 for the base of it. And heres a tip. Get a good compound bow, And do not listen to what people say about the new arcs and what not. My cousin sold his truck for a bow, and that's too much, I have my free compound bow, and shoots very well compared to many of the new compounds smaller. As for the arrows, buy some graphite arrows with inserts in them and then go out and buy some Muzzy 250 that are 1 3 / 16 "cutters and some strips. Get tips from the airfield in sight of his bow, broadheads not used to the sight of her bow. I recommended that specific type of Muzzy broadheads because it will fly like limbs of the field. Any more questions, feel free to PM me.
