I'm making a curtain of air under water, salt vs fresh water? Oceanographers or physical?

I have the same air curtain supply the same, but the bubbles in salt water remain separate and fine, while in fresh water tend to clump together as they rise. I know that the surface tension is almost the same, does anyone know what this is? I am looking for an in-depth response if possible, I'm an MOU for the construction of this project of the Navy …… Thank you.

Find the work of John C. Scott. This is a well-known phenomenon thought to be related to the electrical double layer (see Adamson, Physical Chemistry of Surfaces) around a bubble in the salt water. The presence of bubbles layer rejects charges as they approach, that does not clot. There is speculation, but nothing proved, to my knowledge, bubbles in fresh and salt water bubbles start to the spectra of the same size, but the coagulation of bubbles of fresh water, leaves them with fewer bubbles larger. Ten years ago, some Billy made some measurements in a tank using something called a phase Doppler anemometer bubble size in a simulation wave spectra of freshwater and seawater (see reference below). Interestingly, Memo found that by adding a very small amount (1 ppmv) of a synthetic surfactant called Triton X-100 (aka Kodak Photoflow) with fresh water that could generate fresh water bubbles with a spectrum more or less the same size as the sea water (not exactly, but close). The worst is that it dipwad went on to show that the bubbles did not respond the same way some chemical occurs in water. So, if you do not care about the difference in the transfer of the interface caused by the Triton, is not worried that the newt will alter the acoustic resonance bubbles (not much, but some of them), and the volume of water that is working is not large and is confined (ie you are not working in a lake or river), adding a little newt in water can solve your problem. Triton X-100 is relatively cheap and people have used in many different situations. One of the why is that reportedly mimics the natural viscoelastic properties of surface active material. If this is strictly a point is a bit questionable. Good luck.
